Zelda-themed 3DS XL announced for North America

Much like the Pokémon 3DS XL models, Nintendo has confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will be getting its own uniquely designed handheld system.

Nintendo will be releasing a bundle pack including the special system and a download code for the game. Like most Zelda-themed merchandise, it will sport a Triforce shade of gold.

The bundle will be available Nov. 22, 2013 and will cost $219.99. It’s curious that the bundle won’t include a hard copy of the game, but perhaps Nintendo wants to keep the shelves stocked.

Check out the promotional video with the producer of the Zelda series, Eiji Aonuma, after the jump.
