Weekly Digital Roundup: We are Earthbound

The Steam Summer Getaway sale is still going on at full strength, but is quickly reaching its end.

With the sales quickly changing ever few hours, we recommend that you keep an eye out on Steamdb.info for up-to-date news on the latest sales. I’ve already made a few purchases, did you?

Fans of Earthbound can finally celebrate with its release on the Wii U Virtual Console. And hey, some people (like Pat) may have enjoyed live streaming some of its gameplay.

Plenty of PS3 titles are hitting the PlayStation Store in digital form, ranging from Dynasty Warriors 8 to Dead Island: Game of the Year Edition.

Assassin’s Creed fans can enjoy savings on most of the titles through Xbox Live. And with a Xbox Live Gold Membership, gamers can receive Assassin’s Creed 2 for free through the Games with Gold promotion. There’s also plenty of other games available for half off.
