Utada Hikaru returns to make Kingdom Hearts III’s theme

While the Kingdom Hearts series has plenty of memorable Disney tunes, Utada Hikaru was tasked with placing the cherry on top when she created the main themes of both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II.

So it may please fans of the series to know that the composer of “Simple and Clean” and “Sanctuary” will be scoring the third game’s theme.Hikaru will be reprising her role, as she will pen the main theme for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III.

The news was announced by Hikaru’s father on Twitter. While this isn’t the most surprising news, it just feels right for Hikaru to return and bring closure to the long running series.
