I’ll be honest, I had a solid Christmas on the whole. My parents finally realized that when I started saying I just wanted/needed money for the holidays four years ago, I actually meant it. So now, here I am.
And here’s my old frenemy. The Steam Holiday Sale strikes again.
With sales on Skyrim, the GTA franchise, The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings, the Bioshock franchise, PAYDAY: The Heist and the Galactic Civilizations franchise all winding down, the new discounts of the day make my friggin’ head hurt. All the aforementioned titles are sitting at 50-75 percent off until the end of the day. The newly discounted titles include the Mount & Blade franchise, Age of Empires III: Complete Collection, the Orcs Must Die! franchise, the Far Cry franchise, Mark of the Ninja and the Doom franchise.
These discounts will last through the next couple days: Mount & Blade sits at $8.74, AoE III is $9.99, Orcs Must Die! is $8.74, Far Cry 1 & 2 are both $2.49 while Far Cry 3 is $37.49 (not as exciting), Mark of the Ninja is $7.49 and the entire Doom franchise is $14.99.
Like I said. It shut me up and it took my money.
