Sony announces 320 GB PS3 bundled with Modern Warfare 3

If you’re not one of the nearly 40 million monthly active users as of March 31 already playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and you’re not one of the 64.1 million people in the world that own a PlayStation 3 (or you want duplicates of both), you may want to hold off on a purchase.

Sony’s Associate Brand Marketing Manager for Hardware Crystal MacKenzie posted on the Playstation Blog that a “limited edition” bundle featuring the blockbuster first person shooter and a 320 GB PlayStation 3 would be hitting store shelves on May 25. The bundle is pretty much regular fare from the others, priced at $299.

Back when Modern Warfare 3 released in November of last year, Microsoft had its own “limited edition” bundle for the Xbox 360. That bundle, however, had a 320 GB Slim Xbox 360 with custom graphics, two custom controllers and some added avatar downloads for $349.

So what do you say? Does this bundle entice you to pick up a PS3?
