Resident Evil Revelations is going multiplatform

3DS users don’t have to steal all the glory — Capcom has announced that the stellar Resident Evil Revelations is now heading to PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 this May.

The simultaneous release on all four platforms will happen on May 21 in the US, with Europe getting it May 24. The PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U will be getting the game as a physical disc release for $49.99, with the PC and PS3 also getting digital versions on launch day. Digital versions of the game for Wii U and Xbox 360 are expected at a later date.

The game will receive a noticeable new coat of HD paint, as well as a playable Hunk in Raid mode, new enemies, harder difficulties, and new weapons and custom parts for the mode. Check out the screenshots here.

I personally don’t mind the idea of getting Revelations into the hands of more gamers – it’s one of the better Resident Evil games in a while. I’m just not so sure about that $49.99 price tag.
