Planescape: Torment sequel name and composer revealed

The sequel to the classic D&D role-playing title Planescape: Torment has officially been given a name. While there’s no timeline for release yet, the sequel has been dubbed Torment: Tides of Numenera.

Furthermore, the composer for Planescape: Torment–Mark Morgan–has also been brought on board for a sequel–no doubt pleasing many fans of Planescape’s brooding soundtrack.

Tides of Numenera is still in pre-production so details are scarce, but developer inXile is considering crowd funding based on the Kickstarter success of Wasteland 2.

I’m pretty sure the game is called Planescape: Torment, if it’s based on the Planescape D&D setting that deals with travelling between planes of existence. If it actually has to do with planets, then I have no idea. Otherwise, great article!
