Namco plans to release Soul Calibur II HD Online

Namco Bandai has confirmed that Soul Calibur II HD Online will be released worldwide on November 20th.

The refined fighting classic will be available via the Playstation Network and the XBLA. On either platform, the game will cost $19.99.

While Soul Calibur has had recent games, many consider the second installment to be the best in the series. The game first came out for Gamecube, PS2 and the original Xbox. Depending on the system, there was an additional guest character: Link for Gamecube, Heihachi for PS2 and Spawn for Xbox.

Namco Bandai has confirmed that in the online release, both Heihachi and Spawn will be available regardless of the console. Nintendo fans will still have to wait to see if the Hylian hero will return to the battle.
