Capcom-sanctioned Mega Man fan music albums now available

The two Mega Man fan music albums that were officially announced early last month are now available for every Blue Bomber fan’s listening pleasure.

The first album, “For Everlasting Peace: 25 Years of Mega Man,” was spearheaded by Capcom’s Brett Elston and the folks of OverClocked ReMix and features two discs worth of new remixes that span everything from classic Mega Man to Star Force.

The second album, “MM25: Mega Man Rocks,” which was also commissioned by Capcom and done under the Sumthing Else Music Works label, features re-recordings of several Mega Man cover songs from artists like Armcannon, Bit Brigade, Mega Ran, The Megas and X-Hunters. Also noteworthy is a new edit of The Protomen’s “The Will of One” and the debut of a new track by the band called “Built to Last.”

“For Everlasting Peace” can be purchased digitally on the project’s official website for $9.99. Alternatively, you can get it on CD Baby or iTunes. OC ReMix is teasing a physical release of the album for the holidays, which will go for $17.99. If you’re more in a rocking mood (or just one a double dose of Mega Man musical awesomeness), “MM25: Mega Man Rocks” is available on Sumthing Else and iTunes for $9.99 and on Amazon for $8.99.
