Journey finally making its way onto PSN on March 13 for $15

It’s been a long time coming, but thatgamecompany’s Creative Director Jenova Chen has revealed the official North American release date for unique PSN game Journey. Everyone can download this one on March 13, 2012 for $15.

Mr. Chen had the following to say:

With each game we create, we want to bring something truly unique and authentic to the user. We want our players to experience something they have never felt before. Our first game for PSN  was flOw  in 2007, a meditative zen video game haiku. We followed that in 2009 with Flower , our video game version of a poem about the tension between urban bustle and natural serenity. Journey , our third game, is an interactive parable, an anonymous online adventure to experience a person’s life passage and their intersections with other’s.

The game’s been on our radar for a long while, and remains one of Pixelitis’ most anticipated games of 2012.

I got to participate in a private beta of the game back in the summer. If you haven’t been sold on the game yet, I suggest you read it.
