Following Flocker’s victory over Justin Wong in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 at EVO 2013, Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono stepped up to the stage alongside other Capcom USA personnel to announce Ultra Street Fighter IV.
The game is set for release in early 2014 on Xbox 360, Steam and PS3, and is planned as both a DLC update to Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and a full-fledged console disc-based game. New perks include five new characters, rebalanced gameplay, six new levels and some new, unannounced modes.
The new characters include Poison, Hugo, Rolento and Elena, with a bonus character still unannounced.
The physical release, which includes all previous DLC for Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will retail for $39.99 while the DLC upgrade will cost $14.99. Preordering the game nets you five exclusive DLC costumes for the new characters.
