Feb. 2013 Nintendo Direct Blowout: The Year of Luigi

Iwata Luigi

The latest Nintendo Direct has just finished streaming, and it brought along with it a ton of new 3DS info with it.

First off, the release of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon on Mar. 24 is set to kick off “The Year of Luigi” for Nintendo. Expect a ton of new Mario and Luigi-themed news.

One of the more interesting reveals was a Wii-to-3DS remake of Donkey Kong Country Returns. Can’t say I saw that one coming.

If you were too busy being a lovebird on Valentine’s Day, fret not, as we’ve amassed a rundown of all of the most notable things to come out of the stream, including reveals for new entries in Mario & Luigi, Mario Golf, Mario and Donkey Kong, and about a dozen more. Have at that list (with screenshots courtesy of Allain).
