[E3 ’12] The Last of Us gameplay footage is mandatory viewing


Stop what you’re doing this instant and watch the gameplay footage of The Last of Us that Naughty Dog debuted as the finale to Sony’s E3 press conference.  It’s all kinds of intense.

From the beautifully-rendered scenery to the intense violence and NPC interaction, let’s just say we here at Pixelitis can’t wait to see more of this game unfold.

This editor is particularly impressed with the execution of the dialogue that occurs during gameplay. I’m curious as to whether the dialogue between the enemies and protagonists Ellie and Joel change dynamically depending on what’s going on during the action.

Also, nothing will prepare you for the final few seconds of the video.
