Breath of Fire fans (read: Patrick Kulikowski) rejoice.
According to Capcom-Unity Senior Community Manager Brett Elston, the SNES RPG Breath of Fire II is coming to the Wii U Virtual Console on Sept. 5 in North America, alongside the previously reported European release.
Japanese fans got their hands on the game earlier this July, while the date was still in flux for North America. The game will cost $8 for first time buyers, but fans who owned the previous iteration on the Wii will pay only $1.50. Capcom is still looking into a Wii U Virtual Console release for the first Breath of Fire.
Breath of Fire II joins the growing collection of Virtual Console games on the Wii U, like Earthbound and Street Fighter II.
